Marcia J. Berger
Ms Berger is a Registered Professional Engineer and Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts with over 30 years experience in assessment and cleanup of oil and hazardous waste contaminated properties. As company founder, Ms Berger has conducted thousands of environmental site assessments and remedial engineering and implementation projects for both the public and private sectors. She has also performed various municipal water, wastewater and stormwater engineering projects primarily in facility planning, design/build, construction oversight, utility inspection, testing and operation. She has also performed many subsurface hydrogeological studies.
Ms Berger previously worked for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) in the wastewater and hazardous waste site cleanup divisions. She performs ongoing research and development for environmental technologies and has a patent for an innovative wastewater treatment process. Ms Berger holds a M.S. in Civil Engineering with a major in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Northeastern University, studied Groundwater Hydrology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a B.A. in Ecology and Microbiology from Hampshire College.
