Indoor air testing using our portable gas chromatography equipment provides real time data on specific air toxins at low concentrations even down to parts per billion! This testing provides you with a good idea of what your cleanup requirements may be without having to commit to obtaining knowledge that would have to be reported to a state agency. environmental risk assessments
Most environmental consulting companies in Massachusetts only perform Method 1 Risk Assessments, which entails comparing contaminant concentrations with regulatory standards. Clean Properties also conducts Method 2 and Method 3 Risk Assessments. These assessments take into account fate and transport of contaminants relative to sensitive receptors and enable us to incorporate the latest research and insights to respective risk for various receptors. This can be used to determine if cleanup is necessary and to set cleanup goals for site closure purposes.

While many companies only have geology capabilities for assessing sites, Clean Properties with its depth of engineering capabilities has the certifications and experience to meet the stringent requirements of the Mass Contingency Plan (MCP) for all clean up activities including for Phases 1 – 5 assessments and submittals as well as for contaminated ground water treatment systems, septic systems, water supply and assessing properties for human occupancy. Applicable licenses include: Licensed Site Professionals (LSP), Registered Professional Sanitary Engineer, Licensed Wastewater Treatment Operator, Registered Sanitarian, Licensed Construction Supervisor, Licensed Soil Evaluator, Licensed Hoisting Engineer, Commercial Driver License and Certified Title 5 Inspector.

real time air testing
Our indoor and outdoor air quality testing equipment is able to detect Volatile Organic (VOC) and Air Phase Petroleum Hydrocarbon (APH) at sub-part-per-billion levels and enables us to tell you in real time, informally, if there are contaminant concerns posing health risks. This approach makes it easier to distinguish between environmental and operational sources of pollutants which is very helpful for determining how to alleviate problems.
